Case study - Kings Road House by Rudolf Schindler
Model Light study 1:25
Fabulating, dwelling and walking in the morning light in Bergen City
I can see a small shovel lying on the table infront of me.
It ́s been left there from one of the children playing from the day before,
trying to break up the icy sandy blocks from the sandbox.
Hitting the blocks with the showel,
only to see the sand break apart and run through the cracks of the table.
I guess this was not the day to build sandcastles.
It ́s getting brighter, and suddenly the birds come crawling out from the protection of the inner branches of a tree.
The tree is a great architect,
creating space between the branches reaching for the sunlight,
protecting a host of inhabitants.
As I walk further up a staircase I see a blackbird mother and her child trying to desperatley find some food before the light disapear. Reluctantly, the child blackbird is coming with, as he is dreaming of the warm nest lying in cover of the branches protected by the tree.
Fabulating and dwelling about a home to live within the city
